Each one ounce bar contains .999 fine rhodium and comes sealed in a plastic assay for long-term preservation. The obverse highlights the bar’s weight and fineness, along with inscriptions of “Baird & Co.,” Bullion Merchants,” “LONDON” and a unique serial number. The reverse is inscribed with “BairdMint.com.” Card design may vary.
Rhodium was first discovered by William Hyde Wollaston in 1803 just after his discovery of palladium. It is a noble metal, which means it is resistant to oxidation and corrosion in moist air, and is a member of the platinum group with its silvery-white appearance.
