The beautiful lady on the obverse of all 2017 American Silver Eagle coins is called the Walking Liberty and originally appeared on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. She was designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman. This very artistic sculpture it considered one of America’s most beautiful coin designs.
