The reverse of the .9995 fine Platinum Kookaburra features two kookaburras perched on branches. Also included is the inscription ‘KOOKABURRA,’ (in Perth’s new graphic styling found on all of the 2023 coins) ‘2023,’ the weight and purity, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
This investment product is struck in 99.95% pure platinum and is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1965 with a face value of $15 AUD (Australian Dollars) backed by the government of Australia. The coins are individually packaged in original mint-sealed capsules.
